Trail Rides and Cabin Rental in North Georgia Looking for a great weekend get-away with horses? Come stay in our cozy, comfortable cabin in a beautiful wooded spot overlooking a large lake. It’s a perfect retreat from your busy life. We are located in Gwinnett County convenient to Metro Atlanta areas. You may bring your own horses and have them stay in our barn or a nearby paddock and ride to your hearts content on miles of beautiful, rolling wooded trails or you may rent our good trail horses. The cabin is available for any length of time from overnight, a few days, or a week. The cabin is located on the Ed Dabney Gentle Horsemanship Training Facility which makes it a convenient location for spending a few days here taking horsemanship and riding lessons with your horse or our well trained lesson horses or working with Ed on training issues with you and your horse. There is plenty to do during your non-riding time or for a non riding guest such as boating or canoeing on the lake, fishing, hiking the trails, observing horse training sessions or just relaxing with a good book. There are good restaurants available within a 20 minute drive or you are welcome to cook your own meals in the cabin or have a cook-out by the lake at our campfire ring. The cabin features two bedrooms (one double bed and twin bunk beds) full bathroom, laundry room with washer & dryer, full kitchen, family room with cozy wood burning stove, television with DVD player (no cable), wireless internet, and a back deck overlooking the lake. Cabin RentalCabin rental is $125 for one night or $100 per night for a stay including two or more nights. Horse BoardingHorse boarding for your horse is $20 per night in a stall with paddock turn-out or $15 in a large individual paddock. Bring your own feed & hay.
